The 100 IWLCR5 In-Wall 2-Way D’Appolito LCR Speaker from Focal is a compact installation speaker geared toward the home audio market. Designed for small-to-medium-sized rooms, it can be used in stereo, surround sound, or distributed audio systems. The 100 IWLCR5 features Focal’s aluminum inverted dome tweeter for improved sound dispersion and dual 5″ Polyglass woofers for clear and natural midrange. The left-center-right design includes a rotatable tweeter to allow the IWLCR5 speakers to be used for any channel, vertically or horizontally. These speakers have a low-profile design and are humidity resistant, making them suitable for installation in any room of the house, including kitchens and bathrooms. A paintable, magnetic grille is supplied, allowing them to blend in with any décor. All Focal speaker drivers are developed and manufactured in France by Focal.

Aluminum Inverted Dome Tweeter

The tweeter developed for the 100 SERIES range uses Focal exclusive inverted dome technology for optimal energy transfer and limited directivity. The aluminum dome guarantees outstanding lightness and damping to provide a smooth and precise high end.

Polyglass Woofer

The speaker driver cones of the 100 SERIES range are made using Polyglass cone technology. The glass micro-balls applied on the surface of the cone make the structure of the cone more rigid, providing a rich mid-range register and bass free of distortion.

Perfect Acoustics

The 100 IWLCR5 has a three position switch (-3, 0, +3 dB) to adjust the treble according to the acoustic environment (reverberation on windows or on tiles for example). Two loudspeakers can be connected to the same amplifier.

Easy to Install

The three mounting brackets with optimised grips ensure a quick and easy installation. The screw system prevents screws from falling out when dismantling the product. The 100 Series products have a shallow mounting depth which greatly facilitates installation.

Installation in Humid Environments

Tropicalization is used on Polyglass membranes to allow the installation in humid environments, such as bathrooms and kitchens.
